Loyal to the Game is an album full of remixed previously released and unreleased cuts from 2Pac's earlier period. As this album contains songs recording during the 2Pacalypse Now and Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z, a lot of the lyrics discuss political and social issues. Unfortunately, the majority of the production on this album was done by Eminem. Eminem is a successfull producer and rapper, but after this album it is clear that his style is very narrow and he can't adapt to other people's styles. The majority of beats on this album aren't beats that go well with 2Pac's vocals, in fact Eminem had to adjust the pitch and tone on almost all of the acapellas to make the tracks seem on-beat. To top it off, Eminem cut out a large portion of 2Pac's lyrics, threw on guest appearances from the likes of G-Unit, and even cut and pasted 2Pac vocals to make it seem like he was alive and giving props to G-Unit. The last 4 tracks on this album, however, were produced by 4 different producers including Raphael Saadiq, Red Spyda, and DJ Quik. These 4 tracks are true gems as the were built around 2Pac's vocals by great producers.
